Ruth Schmidt Neven has provided training programmes and consultancy to a wide range of organisations overseas as well as being a presenter at international conferences.

In the United States she has given talks at the Washington School of Psychiatry on the psychodynamic approach to group work with parents, and at Van der Bilt University on the links between child and adult psychotherapy.

Ruth has run the training programmes Foundation Course in Child and Family Development, and Core Principles of Assessment and Therapeutic Communication with Children Parents and Families at the University of Cambridge Department of Education and Child Wellbeing Forum.

Her training on Understanding Attachment Across the Life Cycle has been run at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa.

In London Ruth has presented workshops for NScience in London on Attachment as a Relational Construct, and on Time-Limited psychodynamic psychotherapy with children adolescents and parents. She has also presented an international webinar on Living and Working Psychodynamically for NScience.
